He deserves more than being suspended!
A shocking moment was captured on camera at Port Lincoln race when a jockey dismounted his horse and punched him in the stomach. Dylan Caboche was slowly riding his racehorse into the starting gates when the horse reared and almost caused him to fall off.
As he dismounted the filly he aggressively and hardly hit her in the stomach causing her to jump to the side. Anyway, the filly entered the race and finished in the eighth place in that race. Caboche, who has ridden 40 winners in the last 12 months, has got his punishment and has been suspended from Thoroughbred Racing South Australia (TRSA) for two weeks for his actions. All this has faced critical and harsh reactions on the internet and people are constantly condemning Caboche’s actions. “TRSA does not condone and will not tolerate such behavior and it is hoped this penalty – which will remain on the rider’s record and will impact his earning ability – will send a strong signal to others,” TRSA said in a statement.
